Lifestyle image — wrist with cuff, warm light

Every AARA piece begins at the threshold of a monument — where light filters through sandstone jaali, where an arch frames centuries of devotion. The vertical rhythm of latticed stone becomes fluted metal on the wrist. We don't replicate. We translate.

Architecture
You Can Wear

AARA is a design-led jewelry studio rooted in the architectural heritage of India. We translate the proportions of Mughal arches, the rhythm of jaali screens, and the weight of sandstone history into precious metal. Each piece is a quiet act of remembrance — heritage carried forward, never erased.

Our Philosophy

Three Principles

01

Heritage

We begin with the source — the proportions of a Mughal arch, the rhythm of a jaali screen, the weight of sandstone history.

02

Restraint

Translation, not replication. We pare back to essence — what the eye remembers after the monument is out of sight.

03

Permanence

Materials and craft that endure. Sterling silver, gold vermeil, hand-finished in forms built to outlast seasons.

Craftsmanship

Fluted. Tapered.
Enduring.

The Cuff is hand-finished in 925 sterling silver and plated in 14k gold vermeil at 3 microns — a thickness reserved for pieces meant to last decades, not seasons. Fine vertical fluting runs along the exterior, a direct translation of jaali latticework into metal. The band tapers to smooth, rounded ends; on the inner face of one tapered end, a small arch is engraved — a quiet brand mark visible only on close inspection. One size, gently adjustable.

Source

From Sandstone
to Silver

The cuff's vertical fluting echoes the latticed stone of a jaali — those intricate sandstone screens that filter light and air through Mughal courtyards. Its silhouette borrows the arch's quiet proportions. What was once carved by hand from sandstone is now drawn in silver and gold.
